What the most annoying question your child will ever ask you?

Why?

It's annoying, because it hurts our brains to analyze what we do on auto-pilot.  But it is actually a very good instinct.  As adults, we move so quickly through our day that we don't question what we are doing - "Why do I always do this when it's not really working for me?" or "Is this piece of cake really the best reward I can give myself?" or (to myself specifically) "Why do I keep ordering fabric that is a dead end?"

"We live in the world our questions create." - David Copperrider via A More Beautiful Question
